Lord help me

I'm actually considering a Ford. Problem is, I have to wait even longer for the 2007 Ford Edge than for the 2006 Acura RDX.

But it comes in amethyst and has an interior LED mood light package and MP3 jack. Sweet.

And so my wait for the best station wagon on steroids goes on.

Now, as an aside, I just wanted to add probably my most eclectic list of artists of the week since I started tracking on Last.fm:

1 Ladytron
2 Fort Knox Five
3 Skeewiff
4 Johnny Cash
4 Afrika Bambaataa
6 loungebunny (podcasts)
7 Keali'i Reichel
8 Beth Orton
9 Three
10 The Damned

Hey, we've never ever had a bad ford. There are plenty out there, but I've owned a lot and they've treated us very well. I may, of course, be trying to get you to buy a Ford to allay my guilt as I bought a Hyundai and my departed detroit-born father may now actually be haunting our house ;-)

If you can't wait, DC-area dealers (Ted Britt was good to deal with, but that was in 93 so I don't know how they are now and I never needed any repairs so I don't have an experience with them on that) are offering incentives for the hybrid escape. I'd hold out for the edge. Or go for the mazda 6 station wagon - then you can pretend it's not a ford :-)

See, I like carshopping when it's not my money.

I personally think you should get the Ford F250 (huge tax credits for buying diesels now!) with the extended bed and the super crew cab so that you can do things like buy mulch by the ton, just because you can.

I'm overly tired to I read Fort Knox Five as Johnny Knoxville and had a whole email written offering an intervention before I realized that the problem is simply that I can't read. It made me forget what i was really going to say, thus allowing my brain to detour into automotive mode.

Yeah! The F250 (is there a 350?)! That car would eat me, it's so aggressive just parked there. Stephen swears by Fords and I grew up with a Ford or two. I'm just usually more drawn to non-American cars.

You're still recovering from screen hell, aren't you?
