Ladytron - Witching Hour. I want.
I received what I thought was the Tosca cd I'd ordered in the mail the other day. With joy, I ripped it open, only to find Aphex Twin's Druqks. Now, Druqks is on my "it would be nice to have" list, but it isn't what I ordered. The seller sent my Tosca cd to someone else, it seems. I sent Druqks back and await Tosca's Delhi 9. It was a cruel trick to play on me!
To console myself, I had to pick up the Morningwood, Dirty Three's Cinder and Zohar's onethreeseven. Sweetie picked up the Siouxsie rarities box set.
Lately, I've been ripping my Jazz Butcher vinyl and cassettes into electronic form. It's a pain, but I'm so enjoying being able to hear everything again. Except I really need to get an anti-static dust cleaner and a good (carbon-fiber?) brush. Does anyone have recommendations? I've seen good reviews on the Decca 2-in-one brush but is Gruv Glide any good? Because I can get that at the Fairfax Tower. And what about a stylus cleaner?
It snowed today. Yesterday was almost 60 degrees. So the snow didn't stick except on metal signs and cars. The wind is crazy.
( 09:19 EH | aural pleasures. )OMG, I can comment again??? I am soooo gonna hit you up for some Butcher. Also, the latest podcast didn't download properly - it was 1 min long and cut off. Very sad...
