The last few months have been quite busy, what with dealing with little niggling health problems, trying to wrap up loose ends in my old job and starting a new one at the same time. I've been mentally and physically tired and really, nothing exciting has gone on to make updating mandatory. Well, there was that Gang of Four review I meant to write, but honestly, i haven't had the time to put two thoughts together.
Let's just say that people are whacked and the last thing I want to happen when watching Radio 4 is for some freak to jump into the clear space in front of those of us who staked our claim early and proceed to gyrate her and her boyfriends' (yes, plural) butts at eye level up and down the balcony in front of me. Those ass wagglers were clearly high on something other than life. All the female needed was a pole. Sweetie commented that he'd seen tamer dancing at a strip club. I mean, I really didn't want a girl sandwich a foot from my face. And boyfriend, your saggy ass jeans does you no favors. Wash them sometime and get that butt area some shrinkage. That was soooo unappealing. I very nearly reached out and poked his buttal area to see if he even had a butt.
Otherwise G of 4 was really really fun, despite it being a late late late show. Although the menage a trois didn't vacate our "saved" space at the balcony after Radio 4, everyone around us stood up and hemmed them in so there wasn't much dancing to had. In fact, the couple to the left of us stood up and blocked their access to the whole balcony pretty fast (believe me, girlfriend was using the whole 930 balcony for her Flashdance) while the woman to the right of us gave them a lesson in club etiquette (mainly: you do not steal someone's space and you especially don't dance like a crackhead when you do - if you have to dance that wildly, do it behind the crowd, not in front, thank you).
Well, outta time. Later.
