I innocently switched on Jeopardy last night, late, in the middle of the double jeopardy round. I then proceeded not to pay close attention for a few minutes. When I finally did pay attention, I was weirded out at how much one of the non-Ken contestants (if you watch the J, you know that Mormon Ken has won over half a million so far) looked like The Millionaire, Michael Cudahy. I said this to sweetie and later, it was revealed that this contestant's name was Michael. I was glued to the set after that. Michael Cudahy, The Millionaire, on Jeopardy? And not only on Jeopardy, but has been the only one so far to actually challenge Mormon Ken? They were only 4,000 apart going into final jeopardy.
So sweetie looked up this week's contestants and indeed, it WAS Michael Cudahy. Wow.
I was a big fan of Combustible Edison. I saw them live many times and spoke to the band a few times. After the death of Luxuria, I wondered what The Millionaire might be up to. Well, I guess he was trying to become a millionaire (not to be confused with millionaire Michael Cudahy of Wisconsin).
Feeling nostalgic, I took the Combustible Edison Purity Test and I am 75.3% Combustibly, Edisonally corrupt - that is, I am 24.7% pure in the Combustible Edison domain and my Combustibility is 75.3%.
( 10:37 FH | o! frabjous joy! )No surprise:
"91.4% Combustibly, Edisonally pure (8.6% Combustibly, Edisonally corrupt); that is, you are 91.4% pure in the Combustible Edison domain (your Combustibility is 8.6%)."
But that has a lot to do with my memory - I have a CE tape somewhere, but I have no idea which one or what the songs were.
But wait wait wait - the singer on CE was on Jeopardy??? Did he tell everyone that's who he is? Is CE still playing these days?
