One more day of work until vacation!

Warning: mundanity. You will want to skip.

So I'm sitting here with hair dye on my head, hoping for the best. I bought a bottle of what is supposed to be a blue-black dye that neutralizes any orange tone. It's called Steel Onyx or something, made for the L'Oreal Mega Cools collection which I guess has been discontinued at Sally's. I had two old old (years old) creme developers at home, so I didn't buy any when I bought the color. So I had to choose between the 30 Oreor (which was the recommended brand, since it was L'Oreal) and 20 generic. I chose the generic 20 because I didn't want to lift that much. After all, I am still hair shy after the terrible incident on my birthday. Besides, I don't want lift, I want color.

Alas, the developer was a bit old so I hope the color develops true. The pics show a very blue black color. Actually, the base color that I had my hair dyed in November is wonderful. Lasts forever and matches my real hair color perfectly (I have been futzing with my hair for so long, I kinda forgot that my natural color is black black black blue black). I must find another salon that uses Goldwells.

Anyway, there's one more day until I'm on vacation. It will be long, hard, difficult, fraught with stress, but it's one day.

Then I think I'll mosey over to the Leesburg Outlets on Friday and buy a hybrid suitcase like my sister's 'cause the hardside I have just sucks. Run a few more errands and then do laundry. I think that will be the extent.

I must also prepare the fishies. I didn't think I'd turn into fish gal again. I mean, I don't like dead fish and I tried to just keep two betta bowls but I couldn't do it. I am lazy and didn't like to do water changes all the time so I got a 10 gallon tank. So far, so good. They love their new home (with a divider) and I have two heaters (one on each side) so they're nice and warm. They're also wanting to mate but although I put them together each evening, they never get it on. Sigh. You can see Niobe's eggs just stretching her poor belly and Hugo's bubble nest is getting really really big. Not that I want fry now, since I don't have fry food nor will I be around to watch them hatch, but I don't want Niobe to be hanging out all swollen with nowhere to go, ya know?

Enough fish talk, except when we get back, I'm going to get 6 or so corys to clean the gravel.

Must wash hair now.
