Aha! I prove that the first carcus was indeed an error! oh, you temptress G5 pretty dueling flowers* one day last week Metro pictures on a wet and stormy morning. You can see oncoming cars and the person in front of me reading the Washington Post.

* This is obviously not a photo of dueling flowers. This is a picture of sun getting in the way. See, yesterday our community had a picnic. I dragged poor sweetie along to see if we could meet more neighbors. Obviously, the majority of the folks that showed up were either families with children or older couples that have lived in the area for 20+ years. Anyway, because of the number of children around, there were many activites to keep them busy. One of these activities was balloon animals. Sweetie and I watched two little girls with identical pink "flowers" on green "stems" (each as tall as the girls were) lift their flowers up high and let them kiss each other and then had a little slow battle of wills to see whose flower would win. This was all set against the dark green background of the thicket of trees. The colors were very vivid and the action was very slow, so it was quite surreal. That moment was too far away and too fleeting for me to capture, but later the girls came closer and once again raised their flowers and I tried to get a picture. But for the sun. Still, the sun looked really good, so I still like the picture, if only for what it was supposed to be.
