I need the batgrl's help with this. It's driving me crazy! Does anyone know the answer to this (I think it might help if you were a college DJ in the late 1980s)?
There is a song I want to find. I think it's called Radioactivity and I thought it was by a band called the Nuclear Cowboys. It's electronic dance. There are soundbytes of an American man saying "the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl" and a woman's voice saying "govoritye moskva" and some other Russian bits. Obviously both news reporters. Unfortunately, I can't find anything about this anywhere. I clearly remember the 12" single had a red cover with a large yellow radiation symbol and that batgrl and I used the cover as a template for the WMHC t-shirt.
On a tangent, some (deluded) people tell me that I shouldn't hold on to vinyl because there is nothing on vinyl that I can't get on cd. I then proceed, without trying hard, to rattle off a lot of bands that the (quite silly) person has never heard of. They usually concede that they must know nothing about music (fool!).
Not to rant, but people are so stupid, especially when they get behind the wheel of a car. The road was fraught with idiots this weekend. I know, it's always fraught with idiots, but they were all near us this weekend, I swear.
( 09:33 FH | aural pleasures. )Not only is this right on the tip of my tongue, but I think my friend Chris may have given us this EP. I have to consult the experts.
People are indeed stupid. These are usually the same people who insisted everything was on Napster, when in reality it still represented only like 30% of the music recorded. *sigh*
I have a mostly written email to you so I'm going to stop now and send it. I'm surrounded by Party Animals and it's seriously freaking me out.

I can't wait for the party animal pics.
Posted by: the bunny at 23.09.02 19:25aha! I thought this was the round up before the auction, but it is for safekeeping. Well, that's good to know.
